Community Minded Fischer Plumbing Supports Adopt a Highway Program in Seattle

A truly community minded group, Fischer Plumbing has been supporting the Adopt a Highway Program in Seattle since early 2009.  As a wonderful sponsor of clean highways, Fischer Plumbing is responsible for the clean highways in 13 different locations in the greater Seattle/East side Seattle area; on the following freeways:  I-5, I-405, I-90, and SR 526.

As members of the northwest community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. We believe in giving regularly to charities that make a difference in the local and national community.  Knowing that we can bring a smile to someone’s face, makes giving back worthwhile. – Fischer Plumbing

Fischer Plumbing has been serving greater Seattle and the Eastside with integrity and skill since 1977.  They deliver responsive, friendly, and competent services to their valued customers in the areas of all things plumbing.  Their specialty areas are service plumbing, rooterunderground plumbingboiler repairs and water damage response services.  Their staff is organized around these specialties, so that when one of their employees responds to your problem, that employee works in that specialty 100% of the time.

The Colosseum Restaurant in New Hampshire Cooking Up Community Responsibility

Not only do they care about the quality and dining experience of their patrons, The Colosseum Restaurant team also care about their community.  They have joined the Adopt a Highway Program of New Hampshire and are doing their part to bring clean highways to their patrons.

Annibale Todesca, the Owner and Executive Chef of the Colosseum Restaurant, studied law at the University of Napoli Law School in Naples, Italy, but decided that cooking would be his life-long career.  He wants his diners to enjoy the same Southern Italian cooking that he had enjoyed back home in Italy.

Annibale opened the Colosseum Restaurant in 1987 and has since received numerous awards including the Best Italian Chef and Restaurant in the world! The Colosseum Restaurant is, in fact, the only restaurant to have ever received this award outside of Italy.

A big thanks from Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Service of America to Annibale & his team.

A Huge Thanks to Captain Dave’s Dolphin & Whale Safari

There is a lot of community love coming from Captain Dave’s Dolphin & Whale Safari!  Captain Dave & his team operate a high-tech catamaran with underwater viewing, one of the most unique dolphin & whale watching vessel in the world.  Capt Dave is THE Dolphin & Whale expert! Producer of the award-winning documentary, “‘Wild Dolphins & Whales of Southern California”, weekly columnist and frequent speaker, he spends more time with these animals than anyone we know! Did we mention, he’s also a really great guy?  And last, but not least, Mrs. Capt. Dave’s famous triple fudge brownies on the ride back to the harbor (that’s the real reason some folks come on the trips!)

To show their commitment to the Dana Point community, Capt. Dave & his team have 2 ramp sponsorships and 1 highway sponsorship (3 total segments) in Dana Point, CA at Hwy 1.  They’ve been on board for a year and they have sponsored an entire area surrounding the PCH exit in Dana Point/San Juan Capistrano.  Truly a group of people that care about their community and environment.

So next time you are in Dana Point, CA, be sure to look them up and have Capt. Dave show you the beautiful underwater world of Southern California!  http://www.dolphinsafari.com/index.html
