Eastern Shore Virginia
Sponsor-A-Road
Within an easy drive from urban centers, the Eastern Shore is home to the car-less island of Tangier, several undeveloped seaside barrier islands, Chincoteague Island Ponies, NASA, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Space Authority, award-winning wineries and quaint, historic waterfront towns. The Eastern Shore of Virginia consists of two counties (Accomack and Northampton) on the Atlantic coast of the commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. The 70-mile-long region is part of the Delmarva Peninsula and is separated from the rest of Virginia by the Chesapeake Bay. It is a thriving tourist destination for all seasons.
AAHLRSA launched Sponsor-A-Road in the Eastern Shore of Virginia in partnership with Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commission and WasteWatchers of the Eastern Shore, to keep this beautiful stretch of beach community clean and environmentally safe.
Sponsored segments are 1-mile in length. Litter clean up will take place throughout the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Prime sign locations available, but not limited to, US 13 and 175.
About the Signs
We provide design support, to maximize the impact of your sponsor signage. We will ensure placement for high visibility and exposure.
Each sign will be placed on the shoulder of the highway, facing traffic.
Highway segments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Subway Restaurants World HQ is proud to partner with the Adopt-A-Highway program. This is an easy and effective way to help keep our roadways and environments clean.
