Cleaning up the Highways in CA
Clean California goals are to significantly reduce litter along state highways, local roads, tribal land, parks, pathways and transit centers. To that end, Caltrans is investing in removing litter, creating jobs, educating the public and engaging the community to transform unsightly roadsides into spaces of pride for all Californians.
Our commitment to the Clean California program was on full display this month. Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Service of America employees volunteered to provide litter removal on the highways of San Diego County. While our employees spend their weekdays removing litter for our dedicated sponsors, these individuals devoted their personal time to attain the goal of “Zero Litter” in CA.
Our Sponsors are also making a difference daily. In California, Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal cleaned 9,576 miles of CA highways removing approximately 20,000 bags of litter in 2022. We pledge to keep CA clean and encourage others to join the effort – sponsorships are available on every major freeway and Interstate. Fill out our Get A Quote page for pricing and information. We would love to work with you.
